Seared Salmon with Rosemary and Lemon

Ingredients

salmon fillet, skin-off,
cut into 4 pieces, or desired amount
¼
cup
flour
1
tbsp
avocado oil,
vegetable or sunflower seed oil works too
3
tbsp
butter
½
lemon,
juiced
4
sprigs
fresh rosemary
salt and pepper
Instructions
Take skin off salmon, pat dry.
On a plate, mix together flour and salt + pepper.
Coat salmon with flour mixture and place to the side.
Heat up oil in a non-stick pan at medium-high heat.
Once hot, place salmon pieces in the pan and sear for 3-4 minutes, depending on thickness of salmon fillets.
Flip salmon and lightly season with salt, then squeeze lemon over fillets. Add in butter and rosemary.
Lower the temperature to medium-low heat and once the butter has melted, begin basting the salmon with the lemon butter mixture.
Cook for another 3-4 minutes.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
